What’s On

Kaz Hawkins Band Live at The Kings Arms

Friday 30th September 2016. 9pm FREE ADMISSION

We were delighted to welcome back our old friends in the  Kaz Hawkins Band on Friday 30th September.

As usual they delivered a barnstorming set only this time, instead of playing on the stage in the garden, they played in the bar. The packed crowd loved it and were dancing into the wee small hours.

Until recently Kaz was Northern Irelands best kept secret. Since winning the British Blues Awards Best Emerging Artist in 2015 the British music  scene had no choice but to take notice of Kaz’s truly amazing voice.

As well as the prestigious British Blues Award Kaz won the Pure M Award for best Irish Female Act 2015 and  to top it off the award for Best Album as voted for by Blues Matters Magazine.

The Kaz Hawkins Band are currently touring the UK playing much larger venues as they promote their latest album the critically acclaimed  Feelin’ Good.

The album has been getting serious airplay on Radio 2 and blues music stations aross the world.

It was fantastic to see these very talented musicians up close and personal and we hope it won’t be the last.

Kaz Hawkins @ The Kings

In May 2015, the day after Blues’n’Roots festival,  Kaz and the boy’s popped into the bar in the afternoon and treated us to an impromptu gig.

See you on Friday 30th 🙂
